Pan-Indian star Prabhas has joined hands with celebrated director Hanu Raghavapudi for an ambitious period drama, Fauji, to be shot in pre-independence India. Going by its budget, it has already started creating much noise as if they are making a full-fledged celluloid instead of filming still. While the shoot started with hush-hush mode, many details have come out, mostly about the lavish sets and the very complicated plot. Recently, pictures of a massive jail set with old-time cars and buses created a buzz among admirers as well as film buffs.
Fauji has Prabhas as a soldier who is surrounded by a high-octane, action-packed narrative and a poignant love story. Imanvi makes her debut in this film playing the female lead. This Vineel Krishna-directed Fauji is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Expect an intense action sequence along with an emotionally driven plot rendered to a power score composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
With several grand sets coming along with elaborate period details, Fauji is going to be a visual treat that promises to appeal to the audience. Alongside this, Prabhas is also juggling the production of Raja Saab, which is coming out in summer 2025. Fans of the actor will have two treats to look forward to in the coming years.
