The promotional campaign for the pan-India film Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula, gained momentum on Tuesday with the launch of its first song, “Pe Pe Dum Dum”, in Mumbai. The film features a stellar cast including Nagarjuna, Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh, and is slated for theatrical release on June 20.
Speaking at the event, Nagarjuna expressed his long-standing desire to work with director Sekhar Kammula and revealed that he agreed to be part of the project without even asking about the script or his role, owing to his confidence in the filmmaker’s vision. He lauded co-stars Jim Sarbh for his impressive command of Telugu, Dhanush for his dedication to character work, and Rashmika Mandanna for her rising stardom and box office pull, calling her a “powerhouse of talent.” He also praised Devi Sri Prasad’s music as one of the film’s major strengths. With the release date approaching, the team is expected to intensify promotional activities in the coming days.
