BRS working president KT Rama Rao said that they will think positively about voting for a party in the Vice Presidential election that clearly declares that it will provide two lakh metric tons of urea to the state by the 9th of next month. He demanded that Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi make a clear statement that they will provide fertilizers.
He said that no one has been approached about the Vice Presidential election so far and that a decision will be taken after discussing it in the party until the election date.
He said that he would definitely oppose the candidate put forward by CM Revanth Reddy and questioned why Revanth Reddy, who is showing love for BCs, was not chosen as the BC candidate in the Vice Presidential election? KTR accused that Congress and BJP are two parties that are doing injustice to Telangana, and Telangana has nothing to do with the two Delhi parties.
He deplored that farmers in the state have been facing dire straits for the last two months due to lack of fertilizers, and he was furious that the Congress government could not provide even a single bag of urea. He expressed his grief that the situation of officials having to live by the feet of the authorities for fertilizers has come to an end.
KTR alleged that the Congress government is inexperienced and that the CM KTR has not made a single sincere effort for a single day, and that the problem is the lack of advance planning. He was accused of filing cases on BRS leaders and the police of only guarding the fertilizer bags. He said that the Chief Minister has no minimum understanding of agriculture and administration.
He was angry that the CM is sitting in Jubilee Hills Palace and saying that there is an artificial shortage even though the situation in the state is visible before our eyes, that three bags of urea have been taken, and that a non-bailable case has been filed against a farmer in Nallabelli.
He said that he suspects that Congress leaders are involved in black marketing and commented that Revanth Reddy’s followers and Congress leaders should think about whether they are trying to rob farmers by hiding them in the black market. He questioned whose drama is it that the CM is saying that there is no shortage and that Congress MPs are protesting that there is a shortage.
Kharge, who announced the declarations, asked why Rahul Gandhi did not open his mouth in Parliament if fertilizers were not available? KTR said that even though farmers are suffering so much, BJP’s central ministers, MPs and MLAs are not opening their mouths. He said that there is a suspicion that there is a conspiracy to benefit private companies and asked the investigating agencies to pay attention.
