Hyderabad: BRS party’s working president, KT Rama Rao, voiced his concern regarding certain YouTube channels. He criticized them for repeatedly spreading unsubstantiated lies, using misleading thumbnails, and presenting false information under the guise of news. KTR alleged that these actions may be motivated by blind opposition or financial incentives from the ruling party, viewing it as a conspiracy to undermine him and his party.
He emphasized that such deceptive tactics aim to confuse the public. Legal action has been taken in the past against media outlets disseminating false propaganda, and KTR vowed to address these deceitful practices by YouTube channels through legal means. He warned of criminal repercussions for those spreading falsehoods and misinformation, including blocking their thumbnails, and stated that formal complaints will be filed with YouTube to have the channels banned.
