Koratala said no to invite Charan for NTR30 launch

The bond between NTR and Ram Charan grew bigger after they shared screen space in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. Ever since they started working for RRR, the duo turned up mostly together for many Tollywood events. The camaraderie between them has been a treat to watch. Against this backdrop, it was expected that Ram Charan would attend the launch of NTR30 as chief guest. But, it didn’t happen as expected by everyone. Only SS Rajamouli and Prasanth Neel were invited to the event which was held in Hyderabad recently.

Close sources to the NTR30 team revealed that Koratala Siva was against inviting Ram Charan to the event. It is a known fact that Koratala worked with Charan and Chiru for Acharya and bagged a huge embarrassment as the film came a cropper at the box office. After the film’s release, it was Koratala who bore the brunt of the disappointing result. Many fingers were pointed toward him for his poor handling of the script. And, it was projected in media as if he was the lone reason for the film’s failure.

Also, Koratala suffered a lot financially and was forced to return his remuneration. In the entire episode, Charan and Chiru remained silent and gave the impression that it was a total failure of the director. This irked Koratala very much. He completely went into a state of oblivion and didn’t comment anything on Chiru and Charan. He silently worked on the script for NTR30.

Since the release of Acharya, Koratala has not been in good terms with Charan and Chiru. So, he didn’t want Charan to be invited as the chief guest for NTR’s film. Moreover, NTR30 is being produced by Koratala’s close friend Sudhakar. So, Koratala has complete control of everything. Hence, the team dropped its plan to invite Charan.
