A recent tweet by renowned writer-director Kon Venkat regarding the upcoming pan-India film The Rajasab, starring Prabhas, sparked widespread discussion on social media. While praising the film, a minor error in his post drew reactions from Prabhas’ fans, prompting an immediate clarification.
Kon Venkat had tweeted about the Prabhas-Maruti collaboration, stating: “Just watched The Rajasab teaser. Believe me, this will be the biggest blockbuster in this genre in India. Prabhas’ performance is outstanding. Director Maruti has done a fantastic job. Production values are on an unprecedented scale. Get ready for a tsunami at the box office on January 9, 2026.” Fans quickly pointed out that it was the trailer, not the teaser, that he had seen, resulting in extensive social media discussion.
In response, Kon Venkat issued a follow-up tweet apologizing for the oversight: “Please forgive me. What I watched was the trailer, not the teaser.” The clarification effectively ended the debate.
