Telangana Minister for Roads, Buildings, and Cinematography, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, has asserted that K T Rama Rao (KTR), the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), could face a 10-year prison sentence if the allegations of phone tapping against him are substantiated. The remarks come amidst ongoing controversy surrounding allegations of unauthorized surveillance.
In response to these allegations, KTR has defended himself, stating that any instances of phone tapping, if they occurred, might have been isolated to a few individuals involved in illicit activities. His statement aims to downplay the severity of the accusations, suggesting a limited scope of any potential wrongdoing.
