Amaravati: Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani has sparked discussions regarding the issue of the Andhra Pradesh capital. He expressed skepticism towards Chandrababu’s proposal to construct a capital amidst agricultural lands, questioning, “How can Chandrababu claim to establish a capital in the fields?” Nani highlighted the absence of significant sacrifices by the farmers for this cause, apart from benefiting the real estate sector. He praised CM Jagan’s ability to foster statewide development.
Nani outlined the government’s plan to allocate 150 acres for official use in major cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, leaving the remaining 99 percent for private ventures. He criticized Chandrababu’s acquisition of 33,000 acres, suggesting it was primarily for personal gain. Nani contrasted Jagan’s leadership, emphasizing his focus on direct problem-solving for citizens. He questioned Chandrababu’s credibility in resorting to theatrical tactics instead of addressing real issues effectively.
