Union Minister and Telangana BJP chief G. Kishan Reddy has accused Revanth Reddy and KTR of spreading misinformation on delimitation and misleading the people by showing a non-existent issue in a magnifying glass. He said that only the self-interest of regional parties was visible in the Chennai conference held on Saturday.
He lamented that the old bond between Congress and BRS has been exposed with this conference once again. He advised them to focus on implementing the promises made to the people earlier. He reminded that the Congress is facing serious public opposition due to the failure to implement guarantees in the states of Telangana and Karnataka and the DMK is facing serious outrage from the people due to the corrupt family rule in Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, he said that BRS lost power and could not win a single seat in the last parliamentary elections, and did not even dare to contest the recent MLC elections. In this context, Kishan Reddy alleged that conspiracies are being hatched to divert people’s attention and provoke emotions by creating a division into North and South.
He was furious that they are creating a problem that does not exist in the country and is holding a meeting against the Center. He said that there has been no discussion on the delimitation procedures yet. He reminded that the Congress party has made the laws on delimitation so far.
He made it clear that it is not right to spread false propaganda that injustice will be done to the southern states due to delimitation. He clarified that the Center has not yet taken any decision on delimitation. He assured that the Center is committed to the welfare of the people of the south.
