Kireeti Reddy is grabbing attention with his long-awaited debut film Junior, under the direction of Radha Krishna and the production of Rajani Korrapati under the banner of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram. Junior narrates the emotional journey of Abhi who is the youngest and most loved in his family and is particularly pampered by his father, and has lived a very loving life, as he is a child of freedom until his love for his college mate Sphoorthy. Upon realising the challenges his father and their village have to endure – a storyline depicting Abhi’s progression to a more matured, responsible self-awareness.
Kireeti Reddy delivers a solid and versatile performance, effortlessly commanding every scene, blending romantic scenes, emotional scenes, and action scenes with ease. Sreeleela shines as the heroine, whose character has charm and authenticity. The film supports an impactful performance from Genelia Deshmukh, who returns to film with a character driven role. Ravichandra, Viva Harsha, and Satya do their part well, injecting humor weighted with intensity to enhance the story.
