Keerthy Suresh’s latest heartwarming family drama, ‘Raghu Thatha’, which was released on August 15, is set to make its digital debut on September 13. Helmed by Suman Kumar, the film was backed by KGF and Salaar fame production house, Hombale Films. They marked their foray into Tamil cinemas with ‘Raghu Thatha’.
Making it an official announcement, the renowned streaming platform Zee 5 revealed that the film will be streaming on their platform from September 13 and is also available in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages.
Raghu Thatha follows a gripping narrative of Kayalvizhi, portrayed by Keerthy Suresh, a strong-willed woman confronting the challenges of language politics, gender expectations, and her own beliefs in contemporary India.
With Keerthy Suresh’s stellar performance in the lead role, the film also has a supporting cast of Ravindra Vijay, MS Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Anand Sami, Ismath Banu, and many others in significant roles. The music was composed by Sean Roldan with stunning visuals by cinematographer Yamini Yagnamurthy.
The film hit theaters on August 15, received mixed reviews, and faced a tough competition with other notable films like Ravi Teja’s ‘Mr. Bachchan’, Narne Nithiin’s youthful entertainer ‘Aay’, Ram Pothineni’s ‘Double Ismart’, and Nivetha Thomas’ ’35: Chinna Katha Kaadu’.
