Keerthi Suresh gets another de-glam and raw character

Bubbly girl Keerthi Suresh went against the grain for the first time in her career with Nani’s Dasara in which she played a de-glam role with raw characterisation. She pulled off the role of Vennela with great ease and panache. The way she complemented Nani’s rugged avatar with her sparkling performance received rave reviews.

Once again, the Mahanati heroine is set for an encore. As per the latest reports, Keerthi Suresh has been roped in to play the leading lady in Naga Chaitanya’s next film, tentatively titled Thandel, in the direction of Chandoo Mondeti. Reportedly, it is going to be rustic fare that revolves around the life story of a fisherman who gets entrapped by the Pakistan coast guard for crossing the boundary while fishing off the Gujarat waters.

Keerthi Suresh will be seen as Naga Chaitanya’s wife in this film. She will undergo a complete makeover for this character which presents her in a never-before-seen avatar. Though the makers initially wanted to bring Sai Pallavi on board, they finally zeroed in on Keerthi as she can bring a fresh pairing with Chaitu. She is impressed with the story and her character in her and immediately signed the dotted line.

Keerthi Suresh is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming film Bholaa Shankar. She has lined up four other films in Kollywood.
