Kavitha’s Inflammatory Letter To Father KCR Questioning BRS post-Election politics

Saturday, December 6, 2025

An inflammatory letter that is being circulated as if it was written by party MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha to her father and party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has been creating shocking waves within the party. Kavitha, who is seen unhappy with the party leadership for some time, has practically questioned her father’s style of politics after elections.

Neither she nor any of the party leaders have spoken out about this six-page letter that is being circulated on social media as if it was written on May 2. Even none of them dismissed this letter. If this letter is true, Kavitha has expressed her impatience with the party leadership, directly raising questions about the decisions and affairs of BRS, and indirectly mentioning BRS’s friendship with the BJP.

She alleged that her father is not accessible to party leaders. She expressed her doubts about the way BRS is dealing with the BJP by starting the letter addressing her father ‘my dear daddy’. She expressed regret that KCR did not give clarity on the issue of alliance with the BJP even in the Silver Jubilee event at Warangal.

Stating that he spoke only for two minutes on the BJP, Kavitha said that he should have spoken more strongly against the party. She expressed concern that many people are campaigning that KCR will form an alliance with BJP in the future, which will harm the party. She mentioned that she personally has also faced many difficulties due to BJP, which is why she advised her father to target BJP more seriously.

As the ruling Congress lost trust at the field level, she wondered that even BRS cadre were stating that BJP was becoming an alternative. “The Congress has strongly conveyed the message that we helped BJP by not contesting in the MLC elections. The ZPTC, ZP chairman and MLA-level leaders are suffering because KCR is not available and is available to only a few”, she added.

Kavitha advised her father to try to make him available to everyone. Further, she deplored that the movement leaders did not get the right priority in the Warangal public meeting. “It would have been good if those who have been with you since 2001 were given a chance to speak. The cadre also did not like giving responsibilities to the old in-charges”, she said.

She advised that those who want to contest in local elections should be given B forms directly from the party office. She pointed out that KCR did not speak in Urdu in Warangal, nor not mentioned Wakf Bill. She also deplored that he ignored the issue of SC classification and 42 percent for BCs. In fact, Congress leader Sama Ram Mohan Reddy alleged that Kavitha had written a letter to KCR before going to the USA.
