BRS working president KT Rama Rao has strongly criticized the actions of ED officials regarding the searches conducted at MLC Kavitha’s house and the announcement of her arrest. He questioned the legality of making an arrest without a transit warrant and reminded the ED officials of their promise to the Supreme Court not to make any arrests while the case is sub-judice.
KTR warned of potential legal consequences if the ED disregards the Supreme Court’s promise and proceeds with the arrest without a transit warrant. Expressing disapproval, KTR highlighted the timing of the ED officials’ visit on Friday and accused them of attempting to make arrests deliberately. He also condemned the authorities for imposing restrictions on family members entering the house even after the raids were concluded and criticized the denial of access to their lawyer.
