Hyderabad: Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has made serious allegations against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of extensive phone tapping, including that of his own wife. Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, Kaushik Reddy claimed that the Chief Minister tapped phones of both spouses and listened to their personal conversations.
He pointed out that Revanth Reddy had recently stated in Delhi that phone tapping was a routine practice, and demanded that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) initiate criminal proceedings against the Chief Minister. He further alleged that not just political rivals from the BJP and BRS, but even Revanth’s own cabinet colleagues were under surveillance.
Kaushik Reddy also issued a stern warning, stating that if the Chief Minister continued to make baseless remarks against him, he would be forced to reveal the names of 16 individuals closely associated with Revanth in the past. He alleged that the CM’s movements in Jubilee Hills, Delhi, and Dubai were well known, and went on to claim that even Miss World contestants’ phones were tapped under Revanth’s direction.
