On the occasion of his birthday, the title and first look of his 27th film, Meiyazhagan, were revealed. Karthi shared the announcement on X, unveiling a first-look poster that features him on the back of a bicycle with Arvind Swamy. The background prominently showcases the outline of the Brihadisvara Temple in Thanjavur, hinting at a rich cultural or historical setting.
Meiyazhagan is written and directed by C Prem Kumar, known for his acclaimed work in 96 and Jaanu. The film features Sri Divya as the female lead, with Saran Shakthi and Rajkiran also playing significant roles.
