As we know that Karthi is the younger son of the Tamil actor Sivakumar and brother to the popular south actor Suriya. Karthi began his acting career with the 2007 romantic drama Paruthiveeran alongside Priyamani under Ameer’s direction.
The actor garnered with several awards and accolades for his brilliant performance in the film. Later, he acted in various successful films including Aayirathil Oruvan, Paiyaa, Naan Mahaan Alla, Madras, Thozha, Kaithi, Viruman and many others.
Currently, the actor is working on his future projects. The actor will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s epic historical drama Ponniyin Selvan-II alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Prabhu and others.
This blockbuster sequel which is currently wrapping up the post-production work is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on April 28, 2023.
