The most-anticipated film of the year, Devara Part 1, is scheduled to hit theaters on October 10 this year. The film stars Jr.NTR and Janhvi Kapoor as the main leads, with Saif Ali Khan in the pivotal role. The film marks the Telugu debuts for both Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. In recent updates, it has been revealed that Dharma Productions and AA Films have acquired the North Indian theatrical rights.
Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle and shared a poster of Devara Part 1 along with a group photo with Jr.NTR and the makers of the film. He wrote, “A mass hurricane of grandeur entertainment is CLOSER THAN EVER BEFORE! Honoured & extremely grateful to be a part of – Man of Masses Jr.NTR’s #Devara. We are extremely thrilled & proud to announce our partnership for the north theatrical distribution rights for the next big cinematic experience in Indian cinema!”
Recently, in the success meet of Tillu Square, Man of Masses Jr.NTR said, “Even if Devara is delayed by a few days, I assure you that it will be a film that will make you all raise your collars in pride. We are and will continue to work hard to deliver the best for our audiences.”
Devara Part 1, touted to be an action thriller, is helmed by Maverick director Koratala Siva and backed by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Sudhakar Mikkilineni, and Kosaraju Harikrishna under the banner of Yuvasudha Arts. The film also boasts an ensemble cast including Jr.NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Srikanth Meka, Prakash Raj, Abhimanyu Singh, Ramya Krishnan, and others. Musical sensation Anirudh Ravichandran will deliver the music for this action thriller.
