Rishab Shetty’s most awaited prequel Kantara Chapter 1 has bagged a staggering success at the worldwide box office.
Touted to be an action drama, this film is still continuing its dream run at the global box office. Kantara is having a phenomenal run at the Hindi belt and as per the latest reports, this film has surpassed 175 crores nett at the ticket window. This is one of the biggest achievements for any Kannada film on Hindi belt. The collections might slow down as two other straight Hindi films are gearing up for the grand release tomorrow.
Despite the film doing a solid Hindi business, the trade analysts predict that Kantara might just fall short of 200 crores. Have to wait and see how far this film holds from tomorrow.
