The much-awaited mythological epic Kannappa had its big pre-release event recently, and it received tremendous attention from buffs and film circles in general. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the movie has already generated huge buzz, and the event further fueled the expectation with some touching and moving moments.
Speaking on the occasion, producer and lead actor Manchu Vishnu spoke with deep gratitude, giving credit for the journey of the film to the Lord Shiva’s blessings. He spoke of the sheer contributions of many hands that were extended in support of the venture and made a special mention of pan-India star Prabhas.
Vishnu did not mince words in praise of Prabhas, hailing his humility and giving spirit for being a part of a film based on devotion and culture. “In my life, Prabhas is Lord Krishna and in his life, I am Karna,” Vishnu said, making a heartwarming comparison that spoke of their close relationship.
The Kannappa star also expressed his faith that the film has divine energy and will speak to people at a deep level throughout the country. With its highly effective story and religious root, the film promises to provide a cinematic experience unlike anything else.
The film boasts an entire cast of some of India’s top stars of cinema—Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Sarath Kumar, and Brahmanandam—each in crucial roles.
Kannappa is ready to storm screens across the globe in a big June 27 release, and the excitement is tremendous for this mythological extravaganza.
