The makers of the upcoming mythological drama ‘Kannappa’ have revealed a sneak peek of veteran actor Mohan Babu, introducing him in the role of Mahadeva Shastri.
Manchu Vishnu’s dream project ‘Kannappa’ promises to be a grand visual spectacle, boasting advanced VFX with impressive production values and its stellar cast. Vishnu Manchu stars in the titular role, with a star-studded cast of Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, Brahmanandam, Shiva Rajkumar, Sharath Kumar, Mohan Lal, Preity Mukundan, Madhubala, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmaji, Sampath Ram, Devaraj, Avram Manchu, and many more in pivotal roles.
Today, the film team shared an exciting update on their social media, revealing the striking pre-look of Mohan Babu and announcing that his first look will be revealed on November 22. The poster features a close-up of the actor’s face with only his eyes and the sacred tripundra on his forehead.

Mukesh Kumar Singh, renowned for the ‘Mahabharatam’ series, is helming this epic film, and actor-producer Mohan Babu is backing this high-budget project under the banners of 24 Frames Factory and Eva Entertainments. Mani Sharma and Stephan Devassy are jointly composing the musical tunes and background score to this film, with Sheldon Chau adding another layer with cinematography.
Scheduled for a December 20 release, the film may get postponed due to the highly anticipated arrival of Pushpa 2: The Rule’, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.
