Kannada Superstar Shivaraj Kumar is turning out to be a strong contender for supporting roles in pan-India films from South India. It is a known fact that Shivanna has already signed the dotted line for Ram Charan’s next project RC16, a rustic entertainer from Tollywood director Buchi Babu Sana. Reportedly, Shivanna will be essaying a significant role in this untitled film which is likely to go on floors very soon.
Meanwhile, Shivanna has green signalled another crazy project in South. As per reports, he has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s 69th film. A political thriller and also a swan song for Vijay as he set his foot in poltics with the launch of his own party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, Thalapathy 69 will have Shivanna playing a meaty character that will resonate well with the moviegoers.
Speaking in a recent media interaction, Shivaraj Kumar announced that he will be seen in Thalapathy 69. He expressed his admiration towards Vijay and stated that he is playing a beautiful role in his film.
H Vinoth, who is known for directing films like Sathuranga Vettai (2014), Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (2017), and three movie with Ajith namely Nerkonda Paarvai (2019), Valimai (2022) and Thunivu (2023), has impressed Shivanna for the crucial role. Though it is just a supporting role, Shivanna’s character will have solid screen time and impactful role alongside the lead protagonist.
