The talented director Lokesh Kanagaraj of Kollywood, infamously known as a master weaver of interesting stories, is currently engaged with his next venture Coolie, featuring the legendary Rajinikanth. The film, which is being depicted against the thrilling gold smuggling background, is almost complete, with about 80% of the shooting done. Fans can look forward to this movie, as Sun Pictures produces this one, with Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Shruti Haasan also playing key roles in this action-packed entertainer, which is set to hit theaters in August.
After wrapping up Coolie, Lokesh is ready to focus on one of Tamil cinema’s most eagerly awaited sequels — Kaithi 2. The original Kaithi (2019), with Karthi, was a huge success at the box office and received great reviews, which introduced Lokesh’s unique cinematic universe. The script for the sequel is said to be already complete, and people are growing excited over rumors that legendary actor Kamal Haasan might join the fray, which will only add another layer of intrigue to the film.
