The ACB Court is going to give its judgment in a while. The Court has heard the arguments from both sides. Renowned lawyer Siddharth Luthra is handling the case from the Chandrababu side and Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy is AP Additional Advocate General. The decision regarding the remand of CBN linked to the Skill Development Scam will be out this evening.
Siddharth Luthra stated before the judge that the age and security of CBN should be taken into consideration. Luthra said that CBN has a threat outside and he should be at least considered for house remand.
However, on the other side, Ponnavolu stated that Rajahmundry Central Jail has better security than his house and should be continued in the jail. The safety and security measures are better here, stated the lawyer. Today, the TDP activists have observed a bandh in the state opposing CBN’s arrest and judicial remand. We have to wait and see how this case is going to take shape.
