Jr NTR’s smash hit Devara generated huge buzz when it released in theatres, meeting the sky-high hopes of fans and critics. The movie continued to receive accolades for its gripping narrative, sweeping visuals, and strong performances. Yet, even though one of the largest releases, the film’s satellite rights had gone unsold for almost an entire year — until now.
As per the recent update, the producers have finally finalized the deal, and the Star Group has acquired Devara’s satellite rights. The Hindi version of the film will have its world television premiere on Star Gold on October 26, 2025, at 8 PM and will bring the movie magic to millions of fans all over the world.
The telecast date for the Telugu television premiere has not yet been announced by Star Maa, which has left fans eagerly anticipating its announcement. Given Jr NTR’s distinct fanbase and the general hype surrounding the film, the Telugu television premiere will very likely garner high TRP ratings, and will more than likely be more impactful than any other film on television.
Devara features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead in her Telugu acting debut and Saif Ali Khan as the formidable antagonist. Anirudh Ravichander composed the miraculous background music and songs to enhance the emotional and visual experience of the film.
On top of this, anticipation is already growing for the second part, Devara: Part 2. Word has it that the producers will aim to commence shooting in December of 2025, leaving everyone satisfactorily wondering about the next piece of the thrilling saga.
