Amaravati: Actor-turned-politician Prithvi Raj has unequivocally stated that he will not be contesting the upcoming elections. He clarified that he aligns himself as the arrow launched by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, emphasizing that he will be actively involved in campaigning for the elections in March. Prithvi questioned the focus of ministers on discussions about dances, movies, film collections, and distributors. Raising concerns, Prithvi questioned whether Irrigation Minister Ambati Rambabu possesses knowledge about irrigation projects. He criticized Rambabu for consistently discussing unrelated matters like three marriages and defeats in two places.

Addressing the issue of Pawan Kalyan’s three marriages, Prithvi questioned if it had any impact on the Polavaram project. He refuted claims of multiple capitals, asserting that the YSRCP had utilized him from Srikakulam to Srikalahasti and then abandoned him, promising to provide detailed responses soon. Prithvi also commented on YS Sharmila, noting her current alignment with the Congress and suggesting that the YSRCP will face challenges due to her presence.

He expressed confidence in the formation of a TDP-Jana Sena government with 136 seats, challenging the YSRCP leaders who initially anticipated winning 175 seats. Prithvi asserted that people do not vote merely based on the reshuffling of MLA seats.
