Hyderabad: Adluri Laxman Kumar, MLA of Dharmapuri and Government whip, sustained injuries in a road accident near Ambaripet of Yendapalli mandal early Monday morning. The accident occurred when the MLA’s vehicle overturned while attempting to avoid a collision with a lorry from the opposite direction around 3 am. Laxman Kumar, along with two of his gunmen, was traveling from Hyderabad to Dharmapuri at the time.
Laxman Kumar sustained injuries to his head, legs, and hands, while his security personnel also suffered injuries. Upon learning of the incident, local SI Umasagar promptly responded, transporting the MLA and the injured to Apollo Reach Hospital in Karimnagar.
