The stampede incident at Sandhya theatre has now snowballed into a big controversy and attained political colour after Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy openly launched a scathing attack on actor Allu Arjun with several allegations during the assembly sessions on Saturday.
In his speech, Revanth Reddy found fault with the way Tollywood celebrities expressed solidarity with Allu Arjun in the matter after his release from bail but ignored to visit the kid who was hospitalized and battling for life. It is a known fact that director Sukumar, Allu Arjun’s father Arvind and few others visited the hospital. But, they did this only a few days after the incident happened but not immediately.
Now, popular actor Jagapathi Babu released a video byte on X and revealed that he visited the victim’s family at the hospital and enquired about the little boy’s condition immediately after coming to Hyderabad from his shoot. Calling the mishap as an accident, Babu said he visited the hospital on humanitarian grounds to see the family and express sympathy for the unfortunate loss and to know about the well being of the kid. He said the boy is recovering well with the blessings of god.
Babu said he revealed the news now because no one knows about his visit as it was not given any publicity. Keeping aside the ongoing controversy, his kind gesture has been getting praises from all quarters.
As the public and the Telangana government have been blaming Tollywood celebs for not having any concern on the family, Jagapathi Babu’s video will surely calm down the nerves.
