Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu, currently seen in Ram Charan’s Peddi, is also set to host the talk show Jayammu Nishchayammura, which will premiere on television from August 17.
In a recent YouTube video, Jagapathi Babu shared personal insights about his career and life. He revealed that his real name is Jagapathi Rao, but due to the prevalence of the surname Rao in the industry, he changed it to Jagapathi Babu. He also joked that he became popularly known as “Jaggu Bhai” for ease of reference.
Reflecting on his role in Antahpuram, he said he almost felt as if he had died on screen, as director Krishna Vamsi did not call “cut” during a pivotal scene. He described the film’s climax as his favorite shot in his career.
Jagapathi Babu also mentioned that he considers himself fortunate to have hair that naturally turned white over time, choosing not to color it. Speaking about his personal philosophy, he said he has few desires and only wishes to remain healthy until his last breath, practicing pranayama daily to maintain his well-being.
