CM Jagan attended the Vision Visakhapatnam Conference held in Visakhapatnam and addressed the attendees. He asserted his confidence in winning the upcoming elections once again and taking the oath as Chief Minister from Visakhapatnam. Jagan emphasized his intention to govern from Visakhapatnam even after the next elections. Addressing concerns about Amaravati, Jagan clarified that it remains the legislative capital, affirming the state’s stance on its status. He highlighted the significance of Visakhapatnam as a major city post-bifurcation, citing the loss of Hyderabad and the need for a substantial urban center.
Jagan praised Visakhapatnam’s developmental progress, comparing it favorably to Hyderabad and even Bengaluru in terms of facilities. However, he expressed frustration over certain media outlets spreading misinformation to benefit the opposition. Jagan lamented opposition parties’ obstruction through legal challenges and their negative portrayal of Visakhapatnam for personal gain.
