The Pongal of 2024 is going to witness some rampage at the Telugu Box Office as two big-ticket movies have already confirmed their release dates. Superstar Mahesh Babu and Pan Indian Hunk Prabhas are said to be the main competitors for this season.
Prabhas has teamed up with the ‘Mahanati’ maker Nag Aswin for an International movie titled ‘Project-K’. Touted to be a science-fiction thriller, the movie has a lot of expectations since it has a star cast like Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and others while international technicians are working on the production. The producer Aswini Dutt has earlier announced that this movie is releasing worldwide on the 12th of January, 2024. All of a sudden, the most hyped project #SSMB28 where the star director Trivikram and Superstar Mahesh Babu are collaborating for the third time is also coming for Pongal. Not less than two days ago, producer S Radha Krishna released a poster revealing the release date as the 13th of January. So the rivalry between Prabhas and Mahesh is locked as of now.
Trade experts say that Project-K despite its magnanimity has less buzz compared to #SSMB28 as the movie is not maintaining constant updates. Amidst all this, the producer Dil Raju is hinting about Pongal’s release regarding his productional venture RC15 which is titled ‘Game Changer’ today. The neck-to-neck competition among these three films would be surreal if it happens.
