Rural drama ‘Rangasthalam’ gave a new lease of life to Mega Powerstar Ram Charan as an actor. He made a strong statement with his incredible performance in the role of ‘Chitti Babu’, a hearing-impaired villager who avenges his brother’s death. Charan silenced all his naysayers who wrote him off because of the typecast roles he played before Rangasthalam. Sukumar bagged plaudits for presenting Charan in a never-before-seen intense avatar and extracting the hitherto unknown actor in him.
Now, the heady combination of Charan and Sukumar is set to reunite again as being speculated in the media for the past few days. On the eve of Holi festival, an official announcement about this crazy project was made just a while ago. A concept poster featuring two horses with the names of Ram Charan, Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad and the tag ‘ Raring to Conquer ‘ is unveiled on this occasion. Along with this interesting poster, the makers released a picture of Charan and Sukumar embracing each other while celebrating Holi. The poster also signifies that the duo is set to add new colours to Indian cinema.
Sukumar is currently busy filming Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. Meanwhile, Charan is giving final touches to Shankar’s Game Changer. After this film, he will immediately commence Buchi Babu’s sports drama. So, Sukumar’s film might start rolling towards the end of the year. In all probability, RC17 will release in the last quarter of 2025 or early 2026.
