It is time for Thaman to silence his critics

SS Thaman is one of the top-rated music composers of the current generation in Tollywood. Despite boasting a commendable track record in the last decade with numerous chartbuster albums and thumping background scores, his name has been quite synonymous with controversies and rumours.

Quite often, he gets trolled by music lovers for lifting tunes and rehashing his own renditions. In recent times, his indiscipline has become a talking point in industry circles and the Telugu media. It is heard that Thaman takes his commitments on a lighter note and delivers the content after a lot of delays and only after getting constant pressure from his directors.

His lackadaisical approach towards big-ticket films seems to have not impressed top-league actors and producers. Mahesh Babu is one of those who wanted Thaman to be replaced immediately from his film. Also, the makers of Pawan – SDT’s upcoming film ‘Bro’ are also not pleased with Thaman’s delayed work.

There has been a lot of criticism on Thaman in the last few days. Within the industry circles and among moviegoers, Thaman is facing a lot of ire because of his lazy approach and substandard work in the last couple of years.

So, it is time for Thaman to silence his critics and make a strong comeback. He will be under huge pressure because many upcoming music composers and top musicians from other languages are looking to make inroads in Tollywood. It is just a matter of time before Thaman gets sidelined by our heroes and directors. He will have one last chance to prove his naysayers wrong.
