On Tuesday, a final year Indian medical student named Naveen Shekarappa was killed by shelling in eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. As per the sources, Arindham Bagchi, a spokesperson in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) shared the news on Twitter as- “With profound sorrow we confirm that an Indian student lost his life in shelling in Kharkiv this morning. The Ministry is in touch with his family. We convey our deepest condolences to the family”.
