India is set to host the inaugural edition of WAVES, a world-class audio-visual entertainment summit, under the aegis of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The event, which will bring together global talent from the entertainment and media industries, will be held at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai from May 1 to 4, 2025.
Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi will play a key role in the summit as a member of the WAVES Advisory Committee. In a recently released promotional video, the veteran actor extended an open invitation to aspiring artists to participate in the event.
Recalling his own humble beginnings, Chiranjeevi stated, “Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t stepped onto the college stage for a play. I came from a small village called Mogalthuru in Andhra Pradesh with big dreams. That first college play marked the beginning of my journey as an actor.”
Highlighting the significance of WAVES, he added, “This summit can serve as a launchpad for budding talent. WAVES creates opportunities, turns dreams into reality, and could very well be a turning point in your life.”
Encouraging emerging talent to make the most of the opportunity, Chiranjeevi urged, “If you wish to meet legends from the industry, don’t delay. Register at [www.wavesindia.org](http:// www.wavesindia.org) and be a part of WAVES 2025.”
The WAVES summit aims to establish India as a global hub for audio-visual arts by facilitating collaboration, innovation, and skill development among artists, creators, and industry leaders from around the world.
