The Ghazi fame Sankalp Reddy is a known name for all the movie lovers as he gained a lot of good name with the submarine thriller ‘The Ghazi Attack’. Even though his second movie ‘Anthariksham’ failed to impress the masses, Sankalp is back with his style of another war thriller.
Titled IB 71, this war drama revolves around the situations surrounding the Indo-Pak war of 1971 where Indians won by defeating the Pak Army at all fronts. The makers of IB 71 released the teaser silently believing in their content and the promo indeed made the buzz on its very first view. The visuals and the attention to detail reflect Sankalp’s signature in everything and the shots are quite thrilling. Vidhyuth Jamal is donning the main lead who performs a secret task that ultimately helps India wins the war against Pakistan in 1971. As a cherry on the icing, the makers declare that this movie is based on real-life events only to increase the hype.
Written and directed by Sankalp Reddy, this movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar under his home banner ‘T-Series’. Anupam Kher and others are seen in some important roles giving us the hint of a hit already with this promo. IB 71 is aiming for the date of 12th May as its release date in both Hindi and Telugu.
