Veteran actor Kamal Haasan, who stars in the Mani Ratnam-directed film Thug Life, attended the audio launch event held in Chennai on Saturday. Expressing strong confidence in the project, Kamal Haasan stated that they have created a remarkable film and expects audiences to warmly receive it. Addressing his political career, he clarified that his entry into politics was driven by a desire to serve the people of Tamil Nadu rather than personal ambition for power.
He appreciated his team’s efforts and encouraged actor Simbu to continue working hard for his community. Regarding the film’s distribution, Kamal Haasan revealed that only satellite and OTT rights have been sold to external parties, while distribution remains managed by his team. Malayalam actor Joju George plays a pivotal role in the film, earning praise from Kamal for his exceptional performance, which moved him emotionally during the event.
