The Hyderabad Cricket Association has suspended Vidyut Jaisimha, the head coach of the women’s cricket team, following allegations of inappropriate behaviour from female cricketers. The players reported that Jaisimha engaged in indecent conduct while intoxicated during a team bus journey last month. The suspension comes after the HCA received an anonymous email containing videos of Jaisimha consuming alcohol on the team bus, which were subsequently circulated on WhatsApp groups and featured on television news channels.
HCA President Jagan Mohan Rao has emphasized the seriousness of the matter and has called for a thorough investigation. Vidyut Jaisimha’s suspension underscores the gravity of the allegations brought forth by female cricketers regarding his behaviour. The incident has prompted the Hyderabad Cricket Association to take swift action, suspending Jaisimha pending further investigation into the matter.
