Harish Shankar’s political touch to Ustaad Bhagat Singh

Dashing filmmaker Harish Shankar reunited with his favourite actor Pawan Kalyan this year for the second time after delivering an industry hit way back in 2012 with Gabbar Singh. The hit combination is back again for a powerful cop drama titled ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’. Pawan commenced shooting for this crazy film a couple of weeks ago and already wrapped up a high-octane action sequence in the first schedule.

A close source to the team revealed to us exclusively that there will be numerous dialogues in this film that target the current political dispensation in Andhra Pradesh. Harish Shankar has a penchant for writing trenchant and terse dialogues for lead characters in all his movies. With his favourite actor at the helm, Harish Shankar would further sharpen his pen and come up with more incisive and effective dialogues. He is making sure that these dialogues have political references aimed to give good mileage to Pawan ahead of the elections in 2024.

In Gabbar Singh, Pawan Kalyan mouthed top-notch one-liners which were a rage after the film’s release. One can expect an encore from Harish Shankar yet again with Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The film’s shoot is likely to be wrapped up in the second half of this year and the makers are targeting early next year release.

Happening beauty Sree Leela is the female lead in this film which is coming from the stables of Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad is rendering the soundtrack.
