Telugu superhero action spectacle HanuMan, which took the worldwide box office by storm and raked in close to 300 Crores gross after its release in January this year, is gearing up to smash the OTT records very soon.
The Prashanth Varma directional, we hear, is likely to unspool on the OTT platform in the first week of March. It is a known fact that Zee5 has acquired the streaming rights of HanuMan for a handsome price. As the theatrical run of this Teja Sajja starrer is drawing to a close in a few remaining territories, all eyes are now on its OTT release.
Obliging the condition of an 8-week gap, the makers of HanuMan decided to allow its OTT release in March. Given the blockbuster performance at ticket windows and the mythological touch in the story, HanuMan is expected to register tremendous viewership on the small screen.
HanuMan is the last Sankranti outing to hit the OTT platform. Already biggies like Guntur Kaaram, Naa Saami Ranga and Saindhav have gained immense viewership. HanuMan is likely to smash many records in the first few days.
Hanuman broke numerous records of all time and emerged as one of the biggest hits ever in the history of Tollywood. The commendable narration and the superlative production values made sure that the film struck a chord with all sections of audiences.
