Hanu Raghavapudi starts work on Prabhas’ film

Critically acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi, who made a solid comeback with the commercial success of romantic entertainer ‘Sita Ramam’, has silently kick-started the pre-production activities of his next film which will star pan-India actor Prabhas in the lead role.

Since the past few months, the Prabhas – Hanu Raghavapudi collaboration has been on the cards as renowned production house Mythri Movie Makers is determined to materialize it immediately after Prabhas wraps up his current commitments.

As per the latest reports, Hanu is currently busy preparing the script and the screenplay for this much-awaited project. He is also in discussion with composer Vishal Chandrasekhar who is most likely to come on board to render the soundtrack.

Sources revealed that it will be a period drama tinged with romance and action. Hanu has a knack for presenting strong emotional stories with author-backed characters and pleasing visuals. He is preparing the script keeping Prabhas’ pan-India image and his body language in mind. He wants to give a new makeover for the Baahubali actor and present him in a never-before-seen look that will appeal to all sections of audiences.

The regular shooting is expected to commence in the second half of next year. Prabhas is currently busy with Salaar and Kalki 2898AD. He is also simultaneously working on Maruthi’s film. Next year, he will start shooting for Sandeep Reddy’s Spirit.
