The suspense over the location of pre-release event of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film ‘Guntur Kaaram’ hasn’t yet ended as the team is putting all efforts to hold a huge event at any cost on January 9th ahead of the film’s release on 12th this month.
The makers initially planned to organize a massive open-ground event in Hyderabad on January 6th. However, the police department refused to permit it due to security issues and denied to allot even any other date for in and around Hyderabad before Sankranti.
So, the production house quickly approached the police department of Andhra Pradesh to accord permission in Guntur to hold a large meeting in any of the two venues selected by them. As the story of the film revolves around Guntur Mirchi yard, the team felt that it would be ideal to hold the event in Guntur.
According to the latest reports, it is likely that the permission will be given by today evening. Meanwhile, a team has been deputed to inspect the venues and finalize one of them to kick-start the preparations. Most likely, the final call will be given and an official announcement will be out shortly.
The theatrical trailer, however, will be out today evening directly through the official X handle of Mahesh Babu. SS Thaman and Trivikram Srinivas are currently giving the finishing touches to the trailer cut and it will be unveiled today evening after 7 PM.
