Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Guntur Kaaram features two heroines. Trivikram Srinivas initially roped in top-tier actress Pooja Hegde as the main female lead and happening beauty Sree Leela as the second heroine. However, Pooja was later replaced with Meenakshii Chaudhary due to unknown reasons.
When Meenakshii came on board after Pooja’s exit, everyone felt that her character would have more significance in the film. But, Trivikram seems to have other ideas. It looks like Sree Leela’s role will completely dominate the story as all the posters and the songs that were out till now gave hype to her.
Surprisingly, there is not even a single poster to introduce Meenakshii’s role in the film even though we are just 10 days away from release. Talk in the industry is that Trivikram felt the Sree Leela factor would generate more hype for the film than anything else as she is currently the talk of Tollywood. Hence, they gave top priority to Sree Leela and ignored Meenakshii.
Sree Leela’s glamourous avatar in the song promos triggered a lot of buzz and her impeccable dance moves have already become a rage.
In Trivikram’s films, the main heroine usually walks away with most of the credit. Guntur Kaaram also seems to be another such film and Sree Leela is most likely to grab the entire attention.
The film is slated for release on January 12th.
