Superstar Mahesh Babu’s long-delayed project Guntur Kaaram is likely to resume its shooting formalities in a couple of days. The makers have erected a massive set worth 4 crores in Hyderabad to shoot some important scenes featuring the lead cast. After returning from his long vacation a few days back, Mahesh Babu took stock of the recent developments and advised Trivikram to complete the shooting formalities at the earliest by November end.
Many changes took place ever since the film went on floors in October last year. The stunt choreographers were fired, the lead actress was replaced, some scenes were edited out, the script was changed and so on. Recently, cinematographer PS Vinod walked out due to personal reasons.
Now, many challenges lie ahead for Trivikram and his team. They will need to shoot nonstop if they are particular about releasing the film for the Sankranti season. Moreover, they should simultaneously complete the post-production activities to ensure that there won’t be any last-minute rush. Also, the tunes should be finalized very soon so that the songs will be shot immediately after the completion of the talkie part.
Reportedly, Manoj Paramahsa will crank the camera from now onwards. Thaman is ready with a couple of tunes and he will complete the remaining songs in the next few weeks after getting approval from Mahesh Babu.
So, it is going to be a big challenge for Trivikram to overcome all the hurdles and get the first copy ready by December.
