Guntur Kaaram : A new headache for Trivikram Srinivas

Mahesh Babu’s long-delayed commercial entertainer ‘Guntur Kaaram’ is soon going to resume its shooting formalities after nearly three months gap. Meanwhile, there have been numerous speculations that Pooja Hegde, the leading lady, backed out from the project as she was unhappy with the character and the inordinate delay. This means, the makers have to find an apt replacement for Pooja in a quick time.

Trivikram Srinivas, the director of this much-anticipated film, has his task cut out to find a suitable heroine for this film. Rumours are rife that Pooja is unhappy because Sree Leela’s role outweighs the second heroine’s character in the story. Against this backdrop, it would be a very difficult task for Trivikram to convince any other notable actress to play second fiddle to Sree Leela.

Moreover, he cannot bring another newbie for that role because Sree Leela is already a young starlet and the film will need at least one familiar top-league actress to share screen space with Mahesh Babu. Sources revealed that Trivikram is finding it very difficult to find an alternative for Pooja Hegde. Though names of several top heroines are up for discussion, there is still no clarity who will be the second heroine.

Mahesh Babu is very desperate to release the film for Sankranti. There is still a considerable portion of shooting left to be completed. So, Trivikram has a big challenge on different fronts to execute his plans effectively and complete Guntur Kaaram on time. The fresh schedule will commence in a few days in Hyderabad.
