Great gesture by Ram Charan and Naga Chaitanya

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya showed great respect to the legendary Telugu actor NTR by gracing the centenary celebrations held in Hyderabad on Saturday. In fact, their attendance came as a huge surprise to everyone in the industry circles for many reasons.

Actor Balakrishna, the scion of the Nandamuri family and son of NTR, raked controversies with his unsavoury foot-in-the-mouth remarks on the political journey of Megastar Chiranjeevi during several media interactions in the past. He also lashed out at Chiru for ignoring him while taking up various industry-related issues.

Also, Balakrishna is not on talking terms with Akkineni Nagarjuna for a long. A few months back, his comments on Akkineni Nageswara Rao also didn’t go well with Akkineni fans and their family. Both Naga Chaitanya and Akhil condemned his comments through a press note. Though Balayya clarified on his comments, the issue triggered a cold war between Akkineni and Nandamuri families.

Despite all these issues, both Ram Charan and Naga Chaitanya accepted the invitation of Balakrishna and graced the occasion despite their busy schedule. They lavished praises on NTR for his contribution to Telugu cinema and united Andhra Pradesh.

It looks like this occasion has buried the hatchet between Balakrishna and both these illustrious families of Tollywood. The kind gesture shown by Charan and Chaitu is receiving plaudits from all quarters. However, the absence of Jr. NTR and Kalyan Ram became a talking point in the media.
