Even after minister K Parthasarathi openly expressed his apology and given explanation to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in person over associating with YCP leaders during the unveiling of Sardar Gauthu Lachanna’s statue in his constituency Nuzvid, it continue creating outrage among TDP and Jana Sena cadres.
Both the parties’ leadership were questioned after gathering details of the event, which was dominated by YCP leaders, who were notorious for their attacks on TDP and Jana Sena. They were surprised to know that before unveiling of the statue TDP leaders had a meeting with YCP leaders at the residence of local YCP leader.
On that day, Bezawada Harsha, who had previously urinated on the Jana Sena flag, Arepalli Rambabu, who had harassed TDP ranks with cases, Anagani Ravi, who had burnt down the Gannavaram TDP office, Jogi Ramesh, who had attacked Chandrababu’s house, and others were present on the stage.
Before this event, party factionaries came to know that the Konakalla brothers had met Jogi Ramesh. CM Chandrababu and Minister Lokesh expressed their deep anger after seeing this report. They have decided that the behavior of some leaders will no longer be ignored.
The fact that the YSRCP leaders who attacked the TDP offices were given a big seat at the event and shared the stage with them has caused anger among the younger generation. They are expressing their discontent over social media. Many TDP supporters are accusing the entire event of being an attempt to bring Jogi Ramesh into the TDP.
These YCP leaders were notorious for harassing TDP leaders with false cases during YCP’s regime. Moreover, Jogi Ramesh’s speech from the stage and showering YS Rajasekhar Reddy with praises has made TDP leaders extremely impatient.
Before the statue unveiling program, TDP MLA Gauthu Sirisha, Ex MP Konakalla Narayana and Konakalla Bullaiah met Jogi Ramesh at the house of Nuzvid YSRCP leader Maragani Narayana. On this occasion, it is reported that the Agri Gold case against Jogi Ramesh’s son came up for discussion.
It is reported that he asked TDP leaders to remove him from the fray of cases. On Sunday afternoon, all the leaders had lunch at Bezawada Harsha’s house. On that occasion, Ravi pleaded to get him out of the cases, by which he was sent to jail. But, Jogi Ramesh has reportedly commented that if he went to jail, he too would become a great leader like Gauthu Lachchanna. But, leaders present there have said to be opposed to such comments.
