Business tycoon Gautam Adani today met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at this camp office in Tadepalli. Adani landed on a special flight in Gannavaram this morning and went straight to CM’s residence. The details of this meeting are kept under wraps but as per the sources, the meeting was about the data center that Adani was supposed to build in Vishakapatnam.
Adani came forward to invest almost Rs. 22,000 Crores in the data center. Adani also owns two ports Krishnapatnam and Gangavaram in the state. It is also said that the meeting between the duo was also related to 15,000 MW capacity renewable power projects in five districts of Anantapur, Kurnool, Kadapa, Vishakapatnam, and Vizianagaram.
It can be remembered that when the AP government organized the Global Investors Summit in Vishakapatnam, Gautam Adani couldn’t attend it and in his place, Karan Adani participated. At that time, the Adani group committed to setting up two cement manufacturing units, a data center, and renewable power projects.
