Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) named Gaddam Srinivas Yadav as its candidate for the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat in Telangana, finalizing its lineup for all 17 seats in the state. BRS President KC Rao made the announcement after consulting with party leaders. The Hyderabad constituency has long been held by the AIMIM.
Despite past ties between BRS and AIMIM, recent political shifts have led to changes in alliances. The BJP has nominated Madhavi Latha, while the Congress is yet to announce its candidate. Five BRS MPs have recently switched to the Congress and BJP.
