The blockbuster movie of the veteran hero Sunny Deol’s career, Gadar-1 created a huge impact back in the 90s, and after a couple of decades, finally, the makers made the much-needed sequel Gadar-2. Without much publicity, the movie opened up with positive reviews all over, and at the end of its first day, Gadar-2 collected a huge amount of 40 crores of net making the second-highest grosser in Hindi after Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan. This shows us how the North people are waiting for mass entertainers and action thrillers which are missing from Bollywood in recent times. With no movies in competition, Gadar-2 has all the chances to make it big considering the long Independence Day weekend, and would easily end up as the highest grosser in the career of Sunny Deol.
Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar-2 has a star cast like Ameesha Patel, Simran Kaur, Utkarsh Sharma, Manish, Gaurav Chopra, etc. Presented by Zee Studios, Mithoon has scored the music while Monty Sharma has provided the background score for this sequel.
